This turns out to be caused by the code structure, were we end up comparing things deeply inside RIB instances.<br/> The refactor done in <a href="https://jira.opendaylight.org/browse/BGPCEP-983" title="PCEPTopologyDeployerImpl restarts topologies on any update" class="issue-link" data-issue-key="BGPCEP-983"><del>BGPCEP-983</del></a> to correctly support instantiations in PCEP topology shows we could ditch a lot of those interactions were we to split the application of configuration changes into individual components &#8211; i.e. have peers listen to their configuration etc.</p> BGPCEP-992
