Meaning that even if 300 secs interval is good for convergence, it looks far too much for system test as well as for user experience (people may not see full topology for 5 minutes). So can you please come up with a good value or algorithm to set it? </p> <p>See also Madhu comments below:</p> <p>This is most likely caused by the missed LLDP discovery packet. We have <br/> a configurable timer in configuration/config.ini</p> <ol> <li>The interval which determines how often the discovery packets should<br/> be sent (default 300 sec)</li> <li>of.discoveryInterval=300</li> </ol> <p>This is a 5 mins interval !!!
