First two applications:</p> <p>jobcoordinator counters moniterability, which we lost in <a href="https://git.opendaylight.org/gerrit/#/c/64824/" class="external-link" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">https://git.opendaylight.org/gerrit/#/c/64824/</a></p> <p>regular logging of memory use, useful e.g. for the mystery in <a href="https://jira.opendaylight.org/browse/NETVIRT-977" title="Track heap &amp; native (!) memory usage logs" class="issue-link" data-issue-key="NETVIRT-977">NETVIRT-977</a> (with TBD)</p> <p>Also, my understanding is that other people, e.g. our friends at Ericsson, have other functonal SDN applications e.g. in netvirt in mind where they would like to use Counters. In that context, I expect my work here will be at least "complimentary" to what was outlined in <a href="https://git.opendaylight.org/gerrit/#/c/59283/" class="external-link" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">https://git.opendaylight.org/gerrit/#/c/59283/</a> ...</p> INFRAUTILS-19
