https://jira.opendaylight.org This file is an XML representation of an issue en-us 8.20.10 820010 22-06-2022 https://jira.opendaylight.org/browse/MDSAL-42 mdsal <p>yang-binding artifact currently has all the interfaces thrown into one package, org.opendaylight.yangtools.yang.binding.</p> <p>We need to split them into three packages based on their purpose:</p> <ul class="alternate" type="square"> <li>base user-visible concepts: DataObject, InstanceIdentifier, RpcService,...</li> <li>structural enforcement interfaces: ChildOf, Augmentation, Augmentable, etc.</li> <li>run-time support interfaces: DataObjectSerializer, etc.</li> </ul> <p>These all need to exist in one bundle and the packages need to be referenced from each generated package due to OSGi classloading rules.</p> <p>Finally we need a yang-binding-util, which will provide things for tools dealing with the binding spec itself &#8211; BindingMapping and similar.</p> <p>Operating System: All<br/> Platform: All</p> MDSAL-42
