Clients can check their status there, but it would be more convenient for clients to have a dedicated operational model (that can also be enriched in the future). This model can show current state like Connected, Disconnected, etc.</p> <p>This is related to the original call home implementation (<a href="https://jira.opendaylight.org/browse/NETCONF-5" title="Update call home to RFC8071" class="issue-link" data-issue-key="NETCONF-5"><del>NETCONF-5</del></a>) and using standard server models (<a href="https://jira.opendaylight.org/browse/NETCONF-364" title="use ietf client/server models for configuring call home feature" class="issue-link" data-issue-key="NETCONF-364">NETCONF-364</a>).</p> <p>Operating System: All<br/> Platform: All</p> NETCONF-387
