[OPNFLWPLUG-8] NodeConnectorUpdated notification not being generated consistently

                <project id="10155" key="OPNFLWPLUG">OpenFlowPlugin</project>

Started noticing this today (Dec 20) on my development machine.

When I create a topology in mininet using the command

sudo mn --topo single,3 --controller 'remote,ip=<host>' --switch ovsk,protocols=OpenFlow13

I will sometimes see one NodeConnector show up when I inspect the datastore using the API

http://localhost:8080/restconf/datastore/opendaylight-inventory:nodes/node/openflow:1

Many times however there are none.

But this is something LuisGomez was reporting as part of their ofplugin testing. From what they are saying sounds like this could be a timing issue.

Here is what Luis said

"It looks like the issue we see in the Switch Manager when we restart mininet has something to do with some clearing time, because: 1) Moiz, you cannot reproduce it and 2) We do not see it either if we wait 30 secs or more between stop and start mininet"

Please check with Luis before you close this.
</comment>
