Hi Scott,

The idea here is we only want to have project-indexes moving forward (and eventually these docs will move directly into the projects themselves). There is simply not enough people working on docs these days to maintain the user and developer guides so we will be linking to project specific docs.

So I think there's no point adding links in the user-guide and project-specific guide, we will eventually remove those guides and link only to the project-indexes.

Does that make sense?

I've also started helping the MDSAL project with their own migration and here's the migration patch that you can use as a reference:
